IDEXX Vet Pathology

Located on the first floor of an occupied building in Stirling, the IDEXX Vet Laboratory fitout consisted of a PC2 laboratory in addition to office spaces and breakout area.

TPS was confronted with many challenges throughout the fitout. On an extremely compressed program TPS navigated access to operational beauty clinics below in order to core drill, run & lag hydraulic waste and then return to original condition.

Similarly noisy works was restricted to between 05:00 and 08:00 daily due to neighbouring tenancies being a Federal MP and accountancy firm.

Together with the Silver Thomas Hanley team, TPS engaged closely with the international client. Videocon meetings were held weekly and both video and photographic records were also shared weekly to ensure that design and construction conflicts were identified and addressed promptly.

TPS accommodated and worked closely with the clients interstate specialist vendors and suppliers for IT, Deionised water treatment system, lab equipment and lab benches by ensuring that critical milestones were met and to ensure that individual vendors were not delayed on site.

Despite having to overcome many challenges and additional scope being added throughout the build TPS still managed to achieve PC by the originally contracted dates and also enabling the client to commence early occupation and set-up prior to PC.
